Minnesota Recreation and Park Foundation

The Minnesota Recreation and Park Foundation (MRPF) was established in 1973 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) public charity in 1974.  

It is the only non-profit organization in Minnesota solely dedicated to promoting excellence in the park and recreation profession.  

Mission Statement:

To provide equitable access to education and opportunities for the purpose of enhancing recreation and parks throughout Minnesota.

Vision Statement:

Become a thriving, racially diverse, and inclusive park and recreation profession that embodies innovation and human uniqueness.
